Keyboard Software

Beyond the hardware, keyboard software plays a crucial role in how your keyboard functions. Operating systems like Windows and macOS have built-in keyboard drivers that allow the keyboard to communicate with the computer. These drivers can also be customized with third-party software, allowing users to remap keys, create macros, and change lighting settings.

In addition to driver software, gaming keyboards often come with specialized software that allows for even more customization. These programs can include features like game-specific key mapping, lighting effects that respond to in-game events, and on-the-fly macro recording.
